There were like 10million people inside. It was super humid. The vroom vroom ended up becoming insanely loud cos my tickets were so good until the track was literally 5m away from me… loud until my ears really couldn’t take it. The usher told me to buy ear plugs from red-cross people who were apparently walking around the grandstand, but I saw NO ONE wearing the uniform. In the end I had to settle for earplugs bought from the merchandise stall for a whopping 5bucks cos my ears were going to start bleeding, like seriously. GREAT.
Like I said, F1 is damn retarded. No was actually sitting at their allocated seats. Everyone was looking bored cos all you see are cars zooming pass you. All they did was take pictures. There were actually commentary but cos all of us were wearing earplugs, plus the cars that went vroom vroom every 10secs, the commentary didn’t make any sense. I got so pissed off cos I couldn’t get a decent picture of the race cars (everything ended up being blur) I left after one hour during the break. And apparently, so did everyone else.
There was ZERO crowd control… no one knew where to exit cos it wasn’t stated in the maps. The streets were FLOODED with people and some decided to crawl underneath the fence. It got so bad some fences were pushed down and everyone just left from there, ignoring cries from the organizer that “this is not an exit!!” Erm ok, like we care.So anyway like I was saying, it not that F1 is boring… but imo it makes more sense to watch I at home. It’s not like watching soccer when you can see the entire field. At home, we can get the whole picture instead of just random cars zooming past. And I seriously dun think Singaporeans are really that into F1 yet… a bit too premature to bring F1 to Singapore. But I would say, when then the tv showed the aerial view of downtown Singapore, it was simply breathless. Too darn pretty.
Alright enuff bitching about F1. Saturday was spent ironing clothes (how very househusband-ish). Sunday, finally met up with Aili and Dismas for our long overdue farm visit!! Treated the both of them to fish & co for their respective birthdays… had a long chat (no thanks to the slow service of the restaurant).
Went to visit farms at Lim Chu Kang and see Aili’s ex house, which was gargantuan. Wah lao didn’t know she used to be so rich. Haha. Orchids galore!!

Den went to see frog farm which was strangely intriguing but at the same time super morbid. The frogs really just sit there whole day, not moving. No wonder all of them are so fat!! Then we saw some guy go inside and catch 50 frogs to slaughter. Damn poor thing…. Tsk tsk. But I will still eat frog legs!! Cos they rock!!Vegetable farm next. Quite cool leh the whole trip. And alexis you bitch, i’m sure you would enjoy it la…. You are just too bitchy to admit it. Once in a while go nature stuff… breathe some fresh air, does wonders to soothe the soul man.
And I really miss Funka days… I miss my wife and eating donuts in her room, I miss everything abt Dismas, I miss ct’s screaming, I miss Alexis bitching, I miss Peter’s lame jokes, I miss step’s whining, I miss Nat’s random talking. Tsk. Aiyah. I miss being a student. I cant emphasize this enuff.
Yeap. That concludes my weekend…. Yay. All my direct reporting officers are all in Vietnam and will only be back on Wednesday!! So I can clear my backlog of work without anyone coming to ka jiao me. WOOTS!! and Wednesday is PH!! Shiokness to the maxness.
