ZAI MAX WEEKEND!! part 1

wooohoo. what a blast it was this weekend. like... i have NO WORDS. im busy like a bumblebee

Attended my first fashion show at Millenia Walk to support my friend's handbag label VEIRA!!! wowza engineer turned designer. TZLTTM.

ZAI RIGHT ..... wah lao. even got a backdrop to take photos macam red carpet but the photographer totally skipped me. so sad.... maybe he didnt notice my YSL shoes and Gucci wallet..... never mind i forgive him. ZDBY ask me "so who are u wearing tonite..." SOBZ.

And there was like totally free flow hot dog and vodka orange/cranberry. Sorry diet pls... so i headed STRAIGHT for the drinks... no food. hahah. discipline man TZL CTI. totally whacked 4 drinks on an empty stomach and was super high while watching the show. Me and Moses were totally commenting on HOW LOUSY LOCAL DEISGNERS ARE. oh boy. really very fugly all their clothes

My friend's handbag collection. i think she was the only one who designed handbags... nubbad. quirky. GO SUPPORT VEIRA AT MILLENIA WALK PARCO PLSSSSSSSS. make my friend super famous so she can bring me to milan/london/paris/nyc fashion week plsssssssss. most of the clothes were for women and the male models only came out like 5 times. upset. no designers for men in Spore.... hmmm maybe i shud switch jobs.

So after that i chionged to Marina Sq for dinner with my colleagues. yeah... i know tai haps le. zdy hang out with colleagues on a friday nite.... but it turned out to be quite fun cos they totally fed with gao gao with gossips in my coy which i was oblivious too... haha. too concentrated at work pls no time to gossip... then i tot can totally go home and sleep until i received an sms from gollum "meet later i coming to pick u up" oh boy i cannot run away from Step's clutches. ZDY haps friday nite part 3..... too popular already.

So after fetching a very drunk alexis who was already drinking since 630pm, we heading down to OF ALL PLACES...... ZOUK. oh boy~

with out very hot ticket stubs..... wah lao very long never use ticket stubs to redeem drinks already pls. we have been opening 100 bottles for the past few months.... no wonder we are all broke but act rich. killer combi pls.

Saturday was spent nua-ing at home. Went to Granny's house for family dinner. POPIAH ROAST DUCK ROAST CHICKEN STEAMED MUSSELS AND STEAMED CRABBBBSSSS PLSS. i swear everytime i eat at my granny's house, its like shoving food down my throat every single second. washed it all down with lots and lots of wine.... TZL. sorry no photos.... too busy eating pls.

And then after i went home, totally got called out by Lun to go clubbing in..... ORCHARD TOWERS. oh boy, random to the max. but ok la since i havent seen him in a bloody long time i had to oblige. if not people think i diva pls. everytime fly him kite last min..... the place was not too bad but gosh OT is filled with trannies and fake boobs and really cheap stilettos. it was amusing... and totally witnessed taxi uncles trying to pimp girls and bring angmohs back to hotel room pls. atrocious.....

11. BLJ = Bu Liao Jie
Which means Don't Understand. As in
"Why the fuck is he using all abbrev. And more imptly why is he trying to let the whole world know our secret codes? BLJ pls."

12. YL = Yuan Lai
A revelation of something which one does not understand before. As in
"Because he is bored at work."
"ooooh YL...."

13. CTI = Cannot take it
Literally, cannot take it. As in
"That bitch is still at meeting and insists that she must go home and put make up before coming out again"
"SJB pls CTI"

14. ZMB = Zhe Mo Ban
How? The more B's, the more frustated the individual. As in
"I'm so bored with work and i wanna go home naooooo. ZMBBBBBB?!?!"

15. QMJ = Quit Ma Job
"YBY QMJ after i get my bonus?"
"SJB pls.... ZDY?? BLJ CYP"
"ZDBY?? It's so boring TTM. ZMBBB?!!"

ABBREV 101

since some of u have been asking me what all these abbreviation talk means... here's a rundown of the most commonly used. let's start with the easier ones first:

1. ZDY = Zhen De Yao
Normally used as a reply to a seemingly preporsterous notion. Can be used as a statement or a question, as in
"That bitch got us on the guest list to Arena again tonight, wanna go?"
"ZDY?!?! We have been going for the past 2 weeks!"

2. ZDBY = Zhen De Bu Yao
Spinoff from ZDY (see 1). Also used as a reply to the same, preporsterous notion, as in
"ZDY?!?! We have been going for the past 2 weeks!!"
"But it's free entry and u know the bitch will send u back. ZDBY?!?!?"

3. SJB = Shenijngbing
Pretty straightforward, ie. crazy, as in
"But it's free entry and u know the bitch will send u back. ZDBY?!?!?"
"ZDBY la SJB pls. She will send us home DRUNK."

4. PLS = Please
Used as it is in plain english, but excessively and unnecessarily with no meaning at all, usually to punctuate a sentence. As in
"Oh boy, i can totally see my tummy."
"Diet pls!"
"Dunwan pls! i love food pls! ZDY DIET?! SJB!!"

5. TTM = To The Max
Used as the superlative of an adjective. Usually used together with SJB. As in
"So you want to go Arena or not?!! That bitch is harrassing me for a reply now"
"ZDBY LA! I already said dunwan what. SJB TTM pls"

6. BU = break up
Used for a breaking up of a relationship. As in
"Why are u still with aa, ZDBY BU?"
"ZDBY pls."

7. HS = have sex
literally, have sex. As in
"ZDBY BU with aa and HS with AVDB (also known as Amy Van De Beuken)"

8. Y/BY/YBY = Yao/ Bu yao/Ya bu yao
Quite literally want/don't want/ want or not? Therefore no example needed

9. CYP = Can you pls?!
Normally used as a punctuation to invoke a sense of frustration, anger or resentment. As in
"ZDBY provide an example for the previous terms?! CYP!!"
"ZDBY pls."

10 TZL = Tai Zai Le
Which means oh man too awesome. As in
"Sooner or later we will all start to use all abbreviations and no one will know wtf we are talking abt"
"TZL pls!!!"

It's all so quiet...... sssshhhhh

The weekend started early last week. thanks to the malay community. nice break right smack on mid week. and since the 2 BSes just got back from Msia, what an opportune time to meet up!

Met up at Arab Street for Turkish food which was really very good!! and hanging out at a place with lots of angmohs is a big plus too!

totally looks like having a holiday at some beach resort. tai zai le..... the drizzle didnt dampen our spirits... in fact it chased the clouds away cos we are simply too hot even the sun cannot take it, must come and join us.

totally shisha-ed our lives away.... so after that we decided to head to RED DOT for drinks cos it's happy hour. ZDBY cheap booze pls.

CHEERS!!! we used to come to red dot so often and got sick of it.... so it's been a long time since we came here. the food actually taste better, maybe cos they can cook it better since there was no one there. hahaha. and the Xmas decorations are up!! can't believe its the time of the year again.....

Totally came home on Friday at 630pm. *pats back.... it's been 100years since i came back so early on a friday. budden... im too popular so i went out again at nite. hahaha. tai zai le. who say i got no frens... HUH?!

Saturday.... hmmm what did i do. errrrrrr. caught HP7 which was not too bad. better than the previous 2 installments but still waaaaaaaaay off from the 3rd. Azkaban is still the best!! and then also came home after that.... it was a quiet weekend which is fine. spent less money. yay.

This is going to be a full 5 day week since i dunno when... pls give me some strength to overcome this horrendous ordeal.... :(

Broke beyond words

before i start yapping about what happened last week, pls let me establish the fact that i am broke. for twice this month, my bank acct was reduced to one digit. YES ONE DIGIT. this couldnt have come at a better time esp since its my bday and i havent bought myself a single shit. and to make things worse, my credit card bill this month came up to $2600. no shit. i swear. i just got my pay and i have to use up every single cent to pay back my bill. i SWEAR this is not funny. i am going to eat grass and air till december.

the (minor) silver lining is..... HECK YES i passed my IPPT with silver plssssss. GUO RAN SHI BAO DAO WEI LAO..... haha. but let's just say i passed by the scrape of my teeth. it was so terrible i tot i was going to die even BEFORE my 2.4km run. my chinups were atrociously bad....only managed 7. and i basically used up all my energy doing this station. then tmd the PTI was so strict he didnt wanna let me use my mp3 for running. i swear i almost died.... but i didnt wanna argue (cos i have been using it for the past 2 years... i knew he a job to do).... "sorry sir the training directive said cannot use mp3".... so i very nice la ma de "oh ok.... fine." i seriously tot i was going to fail cos i always use music to pace myself....zdy run in empty silence.... tmd. and my right calf CRAMPED for the 2nd year running. thanks. right calf. u rock. but in the end.... i persevered.... and YAY 11min 43secs pls.... still got 17 secs to spare..... im too zai i have no words.... (at the end of the day i couldnt even walk up the stairs.... oh boy hahaha)

my bday itself was quite boringly spent. watched paranormal activity 2 with mag and cam.... and cam also treated me to dinner and sent me home. THANKS CAM CAM....ur my best work fren. hahaha zdy...

finally pulled out of one item from DP.... kinda sad. seriously struggled with the decision cos i am NOT A QUITTER... i have NEVER quite anything in my life (except for track&field in VJ but thats cos the people sucked balls).... so i typed everything sui sui out on FB and i contemplated for like 3mins before hitting SEND.... huge sigh of relief thereafter. oh boy yuan lai i am one of those people who breakup/pullout outta items/apologise over facebook.... damn imma wussy..... but DUN CARE LA... den the best part was a few days later step told me "EH ZDY PULL OUT...PETER'S STEPS VERY NICE PLS...." thanks for telling me this after i am no longer in the item. ma de.... @iampeterr.... if i only dance ur part can or not? HAHHAA. sian so gonna look like a loser if i pull out then join back the item... :(((((( whatever la i shall see.... no urge to do anything yet.

Friday's plan was to meet up with ma bitches janelle, shanny, mala and van. wanted to try out sknny pizza at wheelock but apparently its not nice so we changed to sun and moon (?) which was not to bad the ramen was yumsssss.

without van cos van is ALWAYS LATE.... lovin the bangs janelle. YL u are part of bangsgang too. hahha. thereafter van came and we took the most random photo in front of the escalator

and as soon as she came, van left again.... damn u bitch why u like that.... ma de. FINE next time dun call u liao. such a tease. i swear u are becoming more and more like a hermit. Went to alleybar for some drinks before calling it an early nite....had a very unfortunate experience arguing with a drunk angmoh who claimed i cut his queue for taxi but i totally shut him up and put him in his place. zdy play punk wiht me u balding fat donkey.

Saturday, the gollum that is step (she refuses to let me go... i am her precious) insisted i have lunch with her. so we had lunch at ion, went over to starbucks and went back to ion again for ice cream. yay i always get free food when im with her cos she never finishes her food. YUMS. thereafter i had to drag my ass all the way to SIGLAP to my fren's place to write the emcee script for my fren's wedding. FOR THE RECORD (and im saying this because my fren doesnt read my blog) I AM SERIOUSLY RESENTING BEING EMCEE AGAIN BECAUSE:

1. i havent spoke to my fren since 2004 (except once at another frens wedding & once when we met up)
2. i dun wanna ever be an emcee anymore becos i wanna enjoy my dinner and whack wine
3. its bloody zoukout day and i wanna ZAO EARLY. ma de

and my fren introduced me to a room full of strangers as "hey everyone this is cheong chye, one of my best friends in sec school"

MY GOD PLS. YES U WERE MY FIRST LOVE BUT TMD we never even spoke in SEC 4 PLS...... at the very most 10 sentences that year i swear. i know becos i counted. i was that stalker-ish. zdy bo dai bo ji suddenly got one best fren in sec4 i dun even know about. major roll eyes moment but i cannot roll in my fren's face so i virtual rolled in my head. GAHHHHHHHHHH i dun want i dun want...... and then the most FML moment was my other emcee is soooo inexperienced and they have FUCKING 3 MARCH INs.... SJB who the hell has 3 march insssssssss?!?! FASHION SHOW MEH. so i bo bian althou i resent this job but i gotta reputation to uphold and i dun exactly wanna fuck up the wedding so i said "never mind i go back and edit and send u all the script next week" FUCK MAN i am too nice..... too nice for my own good. ARGH.... oh and the best part. i am the chinese emcee. FML. CHINESE!!!!!

was supposed to go out with khalid but it was like majorly raining so i cancelled.... then when the rain stopped i got 2 invitations to go out.... but i totally declined cos the moment i thot of my bank acct i was like DAMMIT no the taxi fare after midnite is gonna be a killer.... so i have to act guai and stay at home on sat. SO SAD.

Tenghui's wedding lunch was today and i got to meet up with my coursemates from NUS.... i think weddings are the best way to meet up with people u seldom meet.... albeit a very exp gatheirng.

totally bot a new zara shirt (my 103rd) for this event...... hahha no la not exactly i lack working clothes anyway. Rocking the cowboy look pls.

so yeah. that's it. cant wait for tuesday to come cos wednesday is holiday major yays. tai shuang le.

work has just gotten worse cos 2 of my colleagues have left/are leaving (pretty sure i mentioned that before)

took a pic with linda on her last day... damn we used to take breaks with a couple of others together when we first started but work has just gotten too busy that the last time we had one altogether was.... CNY 2009. YES 2009. believe that.

totally needed the long weekend this week cos i just needed to escape. from what i dunno. but just escape. so i was happily walking to the gym when step called "i saw u". FARK MY LIFE pls. we never even planned to meet and seriously of all nites that i wanted to be alone she HAD to see me. and alexis was at the gym too.... oh boy. ZDY randomly see there everywhere. i had already played badminton at work before so i was super duper lazy to work out... and so were the 2 of them.... so we totally just nua-ed and went to coffee bean to have dinner.

And i was kena tempted by the 2 of them to go to Sean Liew's party.... Sean who? yeah sorry... totally guilty of party crashing a stranger's house. it was so off we even played nice and bought our own drinks.... didnt wanna be totally leeching la right.

with our drinks on the floor.... classy. so the whole thing was totally random and we were so damn awkward cos no one knows each other at the party.... so what did we turn to? Alcohol and camwhoring....

oh yeah that't hot. met some new "frens" and invited them to a made up party that was happening at Arena the following nite. geez zdy invite pple to something we didnt even plan for. nicely done girls. the awkward party soon turned out fine after everyone went crazy with alcohol and i had to be the total buzzkill and make the girls go home. Sorry dun wanna be taking care of 3 drunks. and then ct step and i went to eat bar chor mee which was da bomb. then again, i was probably very very hungry cos dinner was 4 pieces of sushi.

The next day i was supposed to meet up with wei wei at 11am to catch Social Network at Cineleisure. i set the alarm at 10 and totally didnt wanna wake up. i switched on my phone and i saw wei's message of "not wanting to meet" cos he also slept super late..... but just when i tot i could sleep in, he called and said "wake up already pls. can u still make it at 11"..... damn. zdy punk me. so i had to drag my ass out to go watch movie, which was totally worth my time cos Social Network totally blew my penis... oh sorry, blew my mind away. it was so good.... good acting, great script and witty dialogue. LOVED IT..... and it's always comforting to know that there are people out there who are morally more corrupt than me...haha.

Steamboat dinner at Step's was AMAZING as usual...

yeap. i dun do no more cheapass steamboat or bbqs anymore. it has to be good quality food. not crabsticks, chicken franks, cheapo fishballs. has to be beef, bacon, prawn, salmon.... the whole nine yards... and whats a Step house gathering without her killer flirtinis.... oh boy. *hic craving for more.

Did nothing much on saturday... just stayed at home the entire time ironing a shit load of clothes cos i was too lazy to do anything the past week. and Sunday my family took me out to Moh Heng teochew restaurant for lunch to celebrate my bday
