first day of class

There's good news and there are bad news.... let start with the good

GOOD

1. i understood the words in the powerpoint slides

BAD

1. i understood almost nothing when the prof was speaking

2. it's exhausting to concentrate so hard on listening.... and if my mind wanders off for more than 3secs, i am basically lost

3. the lecturers talk NON STOP for 2 hours and there is no break in between. and almost no one went out for toilet break... which led me to infer that french pple have HUGE bladders... OR they don't drink much, which explains the bad breath some of them have

4. i had to copy notes from scratch today... this is sooo JC. my hand was almost cramping and copying in french made it worse. i have yet to translate it.

5. i think i am pretty much screwed.... just PLEASE dun let me da bao.
