1. So this week has been super hectic for me... i finally started my first real temp job. As a housekeeper at Swissotel. The staff rooms and basement were like a humongous labyrinth... there's North and south tower, there's the different lifts to get to different levels... if you take the wrong one it will send u straight to level 39 and above.... then there's the crazy rules that u have to remember, the freakishly heavy duvet and duvet covers that you have to fit together... and the impossibily many postitions of the toilet and cabinet items you have to memorise... but its all fun. I even got a US $2 tip on my first day of work...
The aunties are all pretty nice and the food's not bad too. Many people ask me why am i even doing this.... aiyah for the fun of it and for the experience la... i havent done any temp job in my LIFE. and i think now is a good time to start. I should really get a new pair of black shoes thou cos the ones i have now are seriously not conducive for standing long periods of time... i blame the heels... (well, heels, by men's standards)
2. All those people i'm supposed to interview for my FYP are like seriously flying me kite. All postpone at the very last minute... like the night before "sorry i got urgent things to settle, can we meet next week instead". Wah lao if this goes on i will have NOTHING to show for my report. zilch... a whole lotta nada.
3. All KR items got through panel judging!! Which means i will be performing in 3 items for Dance nite!! SO exciting right!??!i cant wait for practices to come soon!!! i cant wait to dance more!! and abuse my tired legs!
4. i think there was a crane collapse at the construction site at business.... and 3 pple died... EXACTLY WHY I DUN WANNA WORK IN CONSTRUCTION.... i dun wanna die a premature death, getting crushed by mysterious objects and die without even knowing what hit me. that's just sad.
5. My china bought mp3 player which has served me well for the past 3 years suddenly died on me and i promptly bought a new creative zen mp3 player, courtesy of my sister! So cool! haha.... so black and shiny! i like shiny things! haha.
basically thats all.... somehow. i think. i like my life better when i am busy. otherwise.... i'm pretty much doing nothing in my room.
