Picnic!

On the last day of this long weekend (May Day), we decided to check out Grand Parc Miribel Jonage which is about 7km away from Feyssine.... initially we wanted to take a bus, but we realised that the WHOLE transportation system SHUTS DOWN on May Day... meaning, no trams, no metros, no buses.... Remind me again why i am here?? To say the French are lazy is an understatement.

Thank goodness Damien had a car and the place wasnt far so he only had to make 2 trips for the 8 of us. Was quite worried that it would be cloudy but in the end, the sun did indeed come out and play!

Reached the park at 12pm and was amazed at the sized of this place..... If Parc de la Tete D'or is organised, beautiful-flowers pretty, Miribel Jonage impresses with it sheer size and rustic-ness.

I was quite upset i didnt bring my swimming trunks cos the water temp was just nice... and i really needed to swim. ARGH. but nehhh its ok, St Malo has beaches so i can swim this friday! And somehow when i took these pictures there were NO ONE around. But once i stopped taking, 1000 pple started flocking into the park. There were literally hundreds and hundreds of holiday makers baking themselves under the sun. GORGEOUS!

And what do u do when the sun comes out??? ROAST YOURSELF OF COS!!! After a while i fell asleep and i woke up when someone tried to cover my back with the blanket... i saw all of them hiding under the shade and they were afraid i was going to get sunburn. haha But i am the KING of suntanning!!! This sun is NOTHING man.

What a way to end this long weekend... should have at least revised something, but ended up doing only my projects. Thank god by the end of this week, 2 of my projects will be over and done with.... one of them being SB, which i totally detest cos i feel like idiot, contributing nothing to the team. And i only have 2 days of class (grand total 3 classes) before having a self declared long weekend trip to Northern France!!

I dun wanna jinx it but life seems to be getting better again.... until my oral defence in end May!
