Yet another weekend!

The bitch Alexis organised a clubbing session at St James on Friday... wanted to go to POwerhouse but found out they were playing house... for a moment we tot our clubbing plans were foiled cos seriously, who the hell dances to HOUSE?!

Then we saw Van Steph and Zhenbin who were on their way to Cafe Del Mar and they suggested to go Boiler Room... live acts playing to top 40s music.... so we went there instead, opened a bottle (fucking ex)... and went in. Wah the crowd at St James was quite... old. HAHAHA. Like late 20s till 30s...all in working attire. I think... i will end up here in a couple more years time. I would like to think that i still belong to younger places... HAHA

The performances were really quite good... the backup dancers were HOT HOT HOT.... and i think we could all be backup dancers cos their steps are like... HOW EASY.

Anyway, cant believe we clubbed till 330am and we went Fong Seng for some food.... and on the way back to hall we saw the puny-iest, lousiest made Funka poster EVER. What the hell... its like, one A1 sized thing. Seriously going low budget this year.

Slept in the lounge in super stealth mode no one knew i was even there. Felt disgusting cos i didnt bathe... and the next morning i went home... and was back in NUS in less than 5 hours for FUNKA 2009!

Mainly to support dismas and another freshie Zhiwen... cos KR didnt send in any team this year... like omg. ok. disappointing. there were only 12 participating teams vying for 8 finals spots... i think if we were to participate this year using last year's choreo... we COULD have gotten into the finals... but oh well. watever... its over.

Thankfully Dismas and ZHiwen's team got into the finals... i loved their item... cos it was special. and cute. and happy. NOne of those nerd-turned-gangsters or robots-coming-to-life concept.... AND LIKE OMG freaking HAMZA is still participating??!!! Like how old is he? 100? SERIOUSLY. i think he will only stop competing after he wins.... I mean he is good la but he should just give it a rest and let other pple dance. It almost seems a little..... sad and pathetic

So that concludes my slightly uneventful weekend.... CNY in one week and i have yet to buy my bowtie..... so far the cheapest bowtie i saw was at fareast going at 30bucks... i havent really decided if i wanna go for nerd chic look.... hahha. watever. i think my relatives will FAINT if they see me in a purple shirt and a bowtie.... and i i will probably only wear the bowtie ONCE. AIYAH... and i havent buy bakkwa... and I have 2 dance practices this week... SIAN. i think i will be damn busy after work this week.

On a totally unrelated note.... Some LOSER stole my one year old havaianas on wednesday.... like what the hell is WRONG with these pple!!! ITs like no longer yellow... the grip is gone... and someone was just too POOOR to buy their own (branded) slippers.

But at least he left behind his slippers for me... some old billabong black flip flops.... i didnt really think about my lost slippers until today (cos i dun even need to wear them on weekdays)... i tried wearing them but there was already the guy's feet imprint on it... and he obviously has differnet sized feet so it felt so wierd!!!! dammit looks like i got to buy me new flip flops soon. Damn angry. I remembered last time in JC i lost my less-than-one-month-old sports shoes also... cos someone stole it. WAH heart pain. moral of the story... dun leave any form of footwear outside the door. even if its flip flops that is so chuiiii looking.
