OK so i havent really had internet access for the past 3 days. All i can say is Mebourne rocks my socks off. I love Melbourne more than sydney. For sure.
The first day we arrived in Mebourne and went straight to Queen Victoria market.... selling waaay overpriced clothes.... like a singlet costs 20bucks?? wtf?? Den we followed lonely planets walking tour and walked around the city centre, walking wierd streets and see interesting architecture. Quite cool.
Before going to Melbourne i knew the musical Wicked was playing in Mebourne. So we went to check out the price of the tickets.... freaking hell the cheapest was 119bucks..... dayum.... damn upset.... den we went to Her majesty's theatre and checked out the price of Billy Elliot.... ok cheaper.... 75 onwards.... budden van only wanted to watch Wicked and i really didnt mind paying that obscene amount of cash.... AND SO WE DID WATCH WICKED!!!
We even went back to the hostel to change into our nice clothes cos we dun wanna look too shabby. hahahha. and then we were like "omg do i look like shit in this". I ended up wearing my you've-got-class top and van wore her tights and dress... and she said "omg i will be damn cold in this" and i was like " bitch if u wanna look pretty u have to sacrifice and not wear that hideous cardigan". i think i rock.
Wicked was totally wicked.... the sets were extravagant and the costumes and dance were omg. seriously. Even thou it cant be compared to Phantom (cos phantom is still my first and only love) but it was definitely worth my 119bucks.
THe next day we went on the great ocean road trip which was a hell a lot of driving. i slept almost the entire way while driving. The guide was super crappy and funny thou and that was a plus. I guess i was just tired. But the sights were really quite spectacular. The 12 Apostles were really quite pretty plus some other sights...
By the time we went back it was already nite and shit i cant really remember what we did after that.... oh wait we did nothing cos we are boring old folks. HAHAHAHA okok till next time. very tired to blog. BYE :)
