Australia Part 7

Sorry for the lack of updates... was too tired.

Anyway the last day in Melbourne we were basically just nua-ing, walking everywhere within the city. We woke up early to go to Prahran Market to buy picnic stuff we need the entire day. We are poor u see... so we can only picnic. So we bought strawberry, salmon dip, spring onion dip, bread, crackers and juice which will last until dinner. we are damn good.

So after that we took the tram to St Kilda beach but ended up taking one stop more... so we had to walk further ma de. And the beach turn out to be such an ugly beach.... look like ECP. not like Bondi. But watever we took so long to get there so might as well eat there.... and then about 100million seagulls started flocking to us... like an Alfred Hitchcock movie gone wrong.... so we changed place to.......

The King's Domain park. The war memorial was there too... which was quite spectacular. The park itself was very serene and the Royal Botanic Gardens was inside too (i love gardensssss!).... so we took another picnic break and then the ducks decided to join in the fun too..... we threw the strawberry heads at them, hoping they would clear our rubbish, but realised they dun like sour things. ahahha.

Went to a few other random places after that and decided to throw van alone and go watch billy elliot. WOOOHOO!!! I queued up for the 50bucks tickets and scored one. SWEET. the seats were a bit back but i moved forward after intermission. hahaha smart right. DAMN SMART. Billy Elliot was ok not too bad but somehow i expected more dancing. Maybe cos the kids are still young so their steps not very polished. BUt the lead actor was quite good..... pirouette like nobody's business. He doesnt look angmoh too.... look like half indian half angmoh bi-racial. So looks very wierd with angmoh parents. I guess i got the nite with the rejected kid... hahhaa (they have several actors playing billy u see....hahaha)

Next day flew to perth. Huilin brought us around to Swan Valley. A whole area with winery, brewery, nougat shops, cocholate shops and ice cream shops. whack all the samples like crazy.... I even whacked a 5 glass beer tester set at 1pm in the afternoon. i know, i am damn cool. and the 2 girls just watched me drink.... hahhaa. And alos bought nearly 100bucks of wine to bring home.... which luckily didnt break in my luggage. YESSSS!!! (alexis dun get too excited... i will probably give away 2 out of the 4. and its not merlot anyway. i bought dessert wine and pink rose wine. HAHAHA)

After that went to chinatown to buy nougat cos its cheaper.... and then to Kings Park to see the skyline.... and off we went to CIAO ITALIA!!!! Remember the first nite i got stuck in perth we wanted to go eat at this restaurant but its too crowded.... this time we went at 5pm and we were the first customers! SHIOK. we ordered and ate like nobody's business. Seafood lasagne, one creamy pasta, calamari and pizza. And please their portions are not like SIngapore puny portions... its gargantuan. Quite scary. Super shiok. u shud see the pictures when van uploads.
