Nation Parties On....

Yay. The long awaited long weekend. Thank god... it still feels like sunday today althou its already Monday. And my parents are away in Batam so i dun need to endure constant naggings..... peace.

My long weekend actually started on Thursday when i met up with Moses, WeyLing and Tenghui for bluestones gathering... chazz n xh were supposed to come but last minute we kena pangseh-ed... in moses own words "they were felling emo". moses i think u are full of crap. hahaha.... but kudos on the fake korean hairstyle. quite nice hahhaa.

We ate at cedele at Raffles city and talked quite a lot while waiting for tenghui to come from his site at mandai (gasp). cedele's food is really quite good man. and the chocolate truffle is to die for too! after dinner we headed to a new hangout pub at the top of esplanade called Orgas (??? seriously wanna orgas la what the hell)...

Quite a nice view of the half completed marina bay sands. reminded me of the aliens from war of the worlds thou.... semi glimmering in the distance...

Had to work on the next day so didnt stay out that late... plus Weyling got a bit freaked out after hearing how Tenghui's gf nearly got molested in the lift the previous week. so she wanted to go home early.

Friday, went to catch Sing dollar at Esplanade!!

It was not bad... some parts were a little cheesy and duh but there were really some up to date jokes which had me laughing out loud literally.... Hossan Leong performing to Smooth Criminal and then Kumar came out as TT Durai, Sebas Tan as Ming Yi and one guy came out as a Catholic Priest (must be some high profile court case also but of cos i dunno who he is cos i dun read newspapers).... and all of them dancing to MJ moves. And a certain toilet joke about Mas Selamat.... Seriously ma de siao dao peng. We were sitting literally at the last row of the highest floor... like almost 6 floors up. But fortunately we were still able to see everything. Thanks Deyfan for treating! :)

Walked over to Overeasy at One Fullerton. Wah it has been eons and donkey years since i have been there and that place OMG is PACKED. I remembered going there once after Centro closed and it was dead as hell. But now, thanks to Butter Fac and the future IR, that place is like BUZZIN. Waited at Overeasy for Step and her fabulous colleagues and ordered some drinks (not bad not bad, next time can come and chill)...

Bitch.... it pays to have frens in high places who can swoop you into Butter fac in less than 3 mins and for FREE. WOOTS loves it. Those people in the queue must be shooting us dagger stares. hahhaa.

Butter Fac was alright i guess.... but too many people la. Too noisy. Ma de but the songs were not bad....

Saturday, was supposed to go back NUS to watch Rag and Flag but i was TOO TIRED... i was already up and plonked in my seat but i just COULD NOT for the love of god lift up my ass... In the end, found out that we won only some Flag Award and of cos the big one (Chancellor Shield).... but ok la huh. At least the most impt one is in our bag.... AGAIN. Saw the rag video. It rocks! Althou not as much as Kronos.

HAHAHA Finally found some energy to go prepare for my weekend at Sentosa Beach Resort. Woohoo! Room with a view!

Qingyi was complaining the whole time that the bathroom is too small with no bathtub and not ledge to sit on. Aiyah.... come on, this is Sentosa. Land is scarce. No room for bathtub okkkk. And its only 135bucks per person... let's not get our expectations too high.

Headed to the beach to TRY and play beach volleyball... But we ended up only playing 15mins cos:
1. We suck
2. It was about 40degs out there. Us old people cannot stand in the sun too long. Will melt

So we headed over to play the LUGE!!!

11 bucks for one ride is a RIPPOFF, esp since the ride was less than.... 30secs?

Thou i must say the ski lift up was quite fun and scary.... ma de so high. i got heights ok. esp if there is not barrier. half the time i was imagining the cable snapping and me dropping 100feet down and go SPLAT. and then my legs went jelly.

Headed to Bikini Bar beside the luge and drank some cold asahi beer. Hic. Loves it.

Went over to the pool at the hotel and chilled out more... oh anyway if i didnt mention, this getaway is bascially to celebrate Carols Bday and to nua.... and chillaxxxxx

And this is me... top model style chillaxing. Even skee gave her thumbs up.... hahahaa no la. she didnt know i was doing that pose. after she saw she nearly puke blood. HAHAHA.

Headed over to Cafe Del Mar for dinner which was like 5m away from our hotel. apprently voted best restaurant in 2009 (i think). So we had high expectations of the food.....

Was not too bad after all!

All these plus beer for only 40bucks per person. Quite worth it! If only they played more soothing music and not the thumpa thumpa. quite distracting. :P

Walked around Sentosa to digest and headed back for SOMEMORE food... in the form of a coeur noir from Bakerzinn. WOOTS! Chocolate indulgence to the maxness.... and the 7 of us finished all this in like 10mins. Diet be gone!

The next morning was even nua-er than the previous day. Basically just ate breakfast and headed back to the room to watch reruns of wo cai HAHAHAA.

Came back home to sleep somemore and woke up to a massive KFC craving so i headed to buy 2 piece chicken meal and spicy drumlets. WOOTS. what diet? hahaha. came back to watch the national day parade.... first time in i think 6 years that i am watching NDP again. but not bad. this year's quite nice.... and i was so patriotic ok. ma de. i was so indecently dressed since no one was at home.... and right before 822pm, i went to wear pants just to say the pledge.... alone. at home. damn funny. and the wierdest thing was i actually teared while saying it. I LOVE SPORE!

And right after the pledge i pia to bathe and prepare myself for clubbing with Khalid at Zirca. My god. The queue there TOTALLY turned me off. We started queueing at 930pm and only went in at 1130pm. And the cover was 28bucks. RIP OFF. but we were determined to have a good time so we went in anyway... to 1000 other people. I am not even kidding when i say its 1000 people. Freaking packed sardines. MA DE no need to work the next day issit? no wait.... they dun. HAHHAA. like me. If it were a normal sunday i would never have come here. But the music was really good. all mainstream music remixed to club anthems. But the crowd was just too much to handle. Looks like i can give the sunday of Raya a miss if i dun wanna end up getting manhandled in a club again.

In the end i lost Khalid at about 3am cos his hp has no credits and he went for smoking break and i couldnt find him after that.... so i just left. HAHA i hope he is not still there waiting for me... he maybe malay but i think he shud be smart enuff to go home... right? hahah.Thanks for the wonderful nite khalid, althou u were like getting pushed around. I hope the eye candies were good enuff a reason to be, well. happy :)

OK.... totally broke but pay day is only 2 days away. and only 4 days of work left. THANK GOD. No plans for the next weekend yet... so must hurry up plan. BYE!!!!
