GLORIOUS GORGEOUS DAY!!

Initially i decided to stay in this Saturday to finish up some projects stuff.... starting to feel the heat a little... pun intended, both from the weather and the piles of project date dues.... but since i finished some stuff before hand i decided to go to this BBQ thingy organised by les espanol-phones at the river side of Parc Feyssine

at first i thought it was going to be some cosy affair with like 20 pple.... but Dalibel told me "oh about 150 paid for it" ok OMG thats a lot of people..... apparently who's who of the spanish speaking community will be there.... ok. i guess i'm going to be the only freaking chink again.

ooooh GLORIOUS GORGEOUS DAY!!! and guess what? there were tonnes of people there!! Nudist pple.... old ah peks.... and i saw like tonnes of BOOBIES, baking in the hot afternoon sun!!!

and then i saw the rest trying to start a bbq using STONES??? I was thinking with my 100 years of scouting experience that this is soooooo not going to work...... it did. (which is why i am not a president scout)

oooooh! GLORIOUS FOOD!!!! and guess what.... i didnt even pay.... they were like "viens cheong chye, mange ca!".... ok if you are going to insist that i eat....hey, i'll eat man!

after drinking 5 bottles of beer, one hamburger, 2 sausages, what feels like 4 kebabs brochettes, i felt kinda trigger happy so here are some photos i took!

they were not kidding when they said 150 pple.... ok hats off to them for pulling this off.... only the spanish pple knows what a good party is.

And then the police helicopter came!! DAMN COOL! they were like hoovering above the water and circling a few times and they even waved to all of us!!!! Like a scene right out of Miami Vice!!

And there were even pple trying to do the parachute thingy.... COOL!

Alrighty.... my craving for BBQ food is cured already.... was talking to Janelle last nite and she was talking abt the BBQ chicken wings from Chomp Chomp, carrot cake, char kway teow.... wah lao. i couldnt take it.... but now everything is fine.

Awaiting the good news that my flight back to Singapore can be changed to 29th June.... I'm comin baaaaack bitches!
