Nite out

Went to this place Mendo near Valerie's place with her and Derek on Sunday nite for dinner. It's kinda like an asian fusion place... quite good. Big portions for less than 10euros. Although the food not very asian-authentic (none of these Asian places are), but not bad on the whole

I had some beef thing with beehoon

and the Phad Thai derek and val had. Looks good right?

And after dinner we went down to the board walk to just hang around and i saw this group of pple doing body surfing i think, dun really know the name.... quite cool. first time walking here so the view's different... from below.

Den went for some drinks at the riverside boats. Cool! chit chat, gossip....

Yeah... should do this more often, now that the sun is out.... everyday is like 25degrees in the afternoon.... athou not as warm as in singapore but the sun is SORCHING hot. so it actually feels more unbearable.... derek said it may hit 40 in summer...... WTF. thank god i only got slightly more than 2months more

Some stuff i cooked..... all with leftovers.... asparagus with mushrooms and chicken with chicken rice paste from last week.... i had to finish cooking all the chicken and asparagus cos they were all going to turn bad.

And this afternoon, fried rice with honey marinated chicken..... it was so good. i should cook fried rice more.... i love my fried rice!
